i-Remod.com is a blog to showcase the work of Johnson Construction & Remodeling located in Massachusetts. My name is Josh Johnson and I run Johnson Construction and i-Remod.com.

This blog will feature lots of photos of jobs we have done in the past, as well as ones we are working on. In addition to swinging a hammer and managing the jobs that we undertake, I also do most of the planning and design work for our customers using a program called Chief Architect (version 10 currently).

Chief Architect allows me to not only do 2D construction documents, but to also show our customers their projects such as home additions or kitchen remodels etc. in a 3D format with beautiful, realistic textures and rendering. If it is a large project sometimes I will import the 3D file that Chief generates into 3DS Max (a program for hardcore 3D modeling and animation) and create a realistic walk-through movie for the customer and present it on DVD.

Aside from images of jobs I will also include some of these renderings and walk-through movies as well. Hopefully you will find some of what we have to offer useful.
